Standing Up

This part of the lesson is really hard to teach over the Internet. You really need to do a surf class to visually fully comprehend the stand up process. We can help you by providing you with some floor practice. The best way to prepare yourself for your first lesson is to practice 100 meter running starts. Say out loud on your mark get set - go! Start by lying on the floor press up off the floor using your hands then climb up doing a race start. Remember your stand up routine as 1- 2-3. Try ten of these slowly and smoothly.
